Alternative Ear Therapy

Eartec is a revolutionary approach to the treatment of chronic ear infections in dogs and cats. The standard method of therapy for decades has been the administration of antibiotics and steroids to the infected ear. In many cases these eliminate the problem, but some infections never completely heal or return after treatment. Persistent infections can lead to closure of the ear canal, necessitating extensive (and expensive) surgery.

In difficult-to-treat cases, Dr. Belfield has discovered the problem is twofold. Antibiotics and steroids actually impede the healing process, and so does cellular oxidation of the ear tissues. His approach is to apply antioxidants to the affected ear, naturally preventing the oxidation process and initiating physiological healing.

Eartec is a natural alternative to antibiotics, steroids, and harmful chemical therapy. It contains only pH balanced, stable antioxidants in sufficient concentration to prevent tissue oxidation and aid in the ear canal's normal healing process.

It is important to clean the ear with a commercial ear cleaner or 10 volume (3%) hydrogen peroxide before each application of Eartec. If you suspect an active infection, see your veterinarian first as antibiotic treatment may also be required.
